All in a System: The Power of Congregation, Family and Community
Join clergy, lay-leaders, community organizers and counselors in a unique learning experience this Spring at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in Rochester, N.Y. The Rev. Dr. Lynn Acquafondata will teach the theory of family, congregational and community systems, as well as tools for managing conflict and anxiety in this interactive, hands-on course. The course is spread over three months, giving participants time to put the concepts into practice in their professional and personal lives. “All in a System” will take place in three half-day on-site classes and three online classes. Participants will have the opportunity to observe themselves in their community in light of class material, thus living out the systems principles in new and valuable ways.
Designed for working professionals, this class will include suggested readings, assignments and instructor feedback. However, since participants will not receive a grade you can choose which materials and assignments to focus on to meet your objectives.
